The Coesfeld Cup

The "Coesfeld Cup", originally just an experiment, has become a permanent and well-loved feature of the annual Harmony College. This barbershop quartet contest gets its name from the venue, because Harmony College has been held in the Kolping-Bildungsstätte in Coesfeld for many years.

The Coesfeld Cup, with ist relaxed atmosphere, is an opportunity for newcomers and old hands alike to present two contest songs to the judges and the audience. The songs must be true barbershop, obeying the special rules of this singing style. Afterwards, each participating quartet is coached individually (during Harmony College) by barbershop experts who can often look back on decades of barbershop experience. Valuable tips and practical help give the quartets the opportunity to improve their performance.

Registering for the Coesfeld Cup can be done using the registration form for Harmony College. BinG! membership is not necessary, the cost of taking part is included in the Harmony College fees.
