Robert Mance

Full time quartet and chorus coach, BHS singing category judge

Robert Mance has been the artistic director of the BHS medal-winning Central Standard Chorus since 2011.
In 2016, Robert became a founding member and artistic director of the SAI International finalist Vocal Standard Chorus.
Robert holds a doctorate in choral conducting from the University of Kansas.
In addition to his work with choruses, Robert spends his days as a full-time coach for quartets and choruses. Most recently, he served as music director at Shawnee Presbyterian Church, where he also maintained a private voice studio.
Previously, Robert served as interim director of choral activities and interim director of voice at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
Robert completed his undergraduate studies in voice at McGill University in Montreal and his graduate studies in choral conducting and voice pedagogy at Westminster Choir College in Princeton.
He is a judge in the Singing Category and, previously, in the Musicality Category.
