The world champions are coming to Bamberg.
From the 4th to the 8th of November 2026, a project chorus for singers aged between 16 and 35 will be formed in Bamberg.
You’ll learn the songs in advance using learning tracks and arrive in Bamberg fully prepared. Once there, we’ll rehearse together, work on our sound, attend workshops and receive musical guidance from experienced barbershop singers.
The project concludes with a concert in which the project chorus will share the stage with Lemon Squeezy.
Project chorus: All participants will sing together.
Workshops: Barbershop, music theory, voice training and group singing.

You don’t need to be a professional or have any particular choral experience. However, you should be prepared to practise the songs using the learning tracks before the event. Parts of the event will be in English, as Lemon Squeezy are from Sweden.

Get to know Lemon Squeezy
Lemon Squeezy are from Sweden and are currently one of the best barbershop quartets in the world. In 2025, they were crowned world champions in Denver.
At the Barbershop Project Bamberg, you can not only see them perform live, but also work directly with them. They’ll be taking part in rehearsals and workshops, and will take to the stage alongside the project chorus at the end.
Location and Accommodation
The event will take place in Bamberg. Rehearsals will be held at the Dommusik Bamberg choir house, and accommodation will be at the Bamberg Youth Hostel, directly across the road.
The short distances make the event easy: rehearsals, accommodation and socialising are all close by.
All meals are included during the event.
